Joker 2 is coming? Read to know more!!

Joker (2019) grossed over a billion dollars at the box office. It broke the box office record for an original film. It’s the third highest-grossing film of all time in China and the highest-grossing film to be released in January. So it ends the confusion of whether the second part should be released or not. Rumors about a Joker-centric origin film appear to be true, with several sources claiming that it will be directed by Todd Phillips.

Rumors swirled around the upcoming Joker follow-up this week, as fans hoped to get some clarity on talk of production delays. Most recently, the director and star confirmed that they were still planning to release a second film in the series. Here’s what we know about Joker 2 – there are new rumors every day. But one thing’s for sure, they’re going to make an awesome movie.

Though this version was intended as a standalone movie, the review of the film has led to the beginning of a new series.We don’t know exactly what Phillips may have meant about the sequel, but as an open-ended series, the story has plenty of room to grow. The film is a culmination of multiple storylines created in the comics since the mid ’80s. We’ve gotten to know Bruce Wayne as he builds his arc reactor. 

Without a release date or any concrete plans, news on the next Joker movie is hard to come by. But the plan for the script is surely under development.
