Rick and Morty Season 5 Episode 4: Recap

Episode 4 of Rick and Morty Season Five was released on July 11, 2021, directed by Erica Hayes and written by Nick Rutherford.

The Rick and Morty season 5 episode 4 starts with Morty who is one of the most shameless teenagers as in the starting scene we can see that he is inserting his own semen into a horse breeding machine at Beth’s work. Then he starts congratulating himself by calling himself a “dirty little doggy”. However, then he sees that his grandfather Rick is using that horse semen for a project. Seeing this, he gets ashamed and suddenly the horse seaman barrel explodes which creates a race of giant sperms. Now the president asks Rick and Morty to destroy “orgazagoblins,” “cumplestiltskins” or “skeetboogins.”

Now both of them start hunting for them and they reach the Grand Canyon where the Queen sperm tells Rick that Morty is their father. He pins him down and starts extracting more semen from the horse breeding machine. Besides all this, the  President, Summer, Beth, and Jerry are now creating their plan to stop the giant sperm. Meanwhile, Morty, Rick, and a friendly sperm known as Sticky are captured by cannibalistic horses called chuds. Before the horse breed could kill them and eat the trio, Princess Ponyetta comes in and saves them. She also reveals that she is pregnant and Ricky is the father of the baby. 

Giant Egg :

Now the story revolves around the giant egg that was taken from the summer in Vegas. When the news came out that it had been stolen, everybody got tensed because of the giant sperm. As the giant sperm would reach the egg, it would get fertilised and therefore a giant incest baby would be created that can cause havoc all around the town. 

Seeing this condition, now the humans and the chuds create a team with each other so as to eliminate all the sperms and minimise the damage that they can cause in the future to both of them. The team that they form comes out to be known as a truce and they start eliminating sperm at Las Vegas. 

Meanwhile, Sticky, who was the friendly sperm, succeeds in defeating the Queen sperm and has finally given a reason to smile to Rick and Morty. Now the Queen can’t reach the egg and between all this, the President appears in front of them. He shoots the egg into space and clears all the tension that was going around the town. However, all the people present there now think that what will happen in space if somehow sperm reach there. Although, the president says that the giant incest baby is no more their problem and they should be happy with it rather than thinking about the space. 

Now, Princess Ponyetta gives birth to a child which is a Rick-horse hybrid. However, since the child comes out as fully formed, he gets buried into the soil and at the last, the inter-species lovers part their ways from each other. 

At the end of the episode, Rick is staring at the camera and then presses the red button which shows “That was Easy” to the viewers.

Rick and Morty Season 5 Episode 5 is set to release on Sunday 18 July 2021 at 11 PM PT/ET. The title of episode 5 is “Amortycan Grickfitti” which will be stream on Adult Swim. In India, Rick and Morty Season5 Episode 5 will be released on Monday 19 July 2021 on Netflix.
