Serena Williams, the iconic tennis star has announced her retirement which now makes her sister Venus Williams to be speculated with the same. While we all know how wonderful both Serena and Venus have been in their tennis career. Fans finally know that Serena is all set to leave the tennis court forever. However, fans are also thinking that Venus might retire as well. But is that really so?

Serena Williams announced her retirement
Serena Williams has been the star tennis player of the world. She has won several trophies and holds so many titles on her name. However, it was shocking for her fans when this month she announced that she is retiring. On August 8th, Serena shared that she is leaving the tennis court forever.
Yet, post that announcement though, fans have been supporting her decision. No doubt, she always won hearts of all her fans for so many years which is hard to miss. But her sister Venus is a popular tennis player as well. But she has been missing from the tennis court for a while. So, is she retiring as well?
Is Venus Williams retiring too?
Post the retirement announcement of Serena Williams. Fans have been thinking if Venus Williams is retiring too or not. As she hasn’t been much active in tennis court these days. But, she isn’t having any plans to retire either. In fact, while on Q & A round on YouTube, one of the fans did ask her about her retirement. To which she said that she still has lot to prove to the world.
Hence, no one should think that she is to retire anytime soon. Though has been missing from the tennis court. Yet she said that she’ll come stronger than ever. As such fans of Venus do have hope that a good game may come from Venus in future.
What’s Serena and Venus’s plan post retirement?
Though fans now know that Serena isn’t coming back to the tennis court. Yet, Venus still plans to show her power to her fans. Meanwhile, while in an interview with Harper Bazaar, Venus was asked about her and Serena’s plans post-retirement.
In that interview as such, she said that she has discussed her plans post-retirement with her sister Serena. Hence, both have decided that they’ll become bodybuilders. She said that she and her sister has done works since really young age. As such they want to be free now.
