Shelley also posted that Art was a generous and selfless man who loved acting and he was always there for his family and friends. She added that she feels lucky that they had a 43-year relationship and he cherished her and adored her.
She mentioned the works of the late actor that bought laughter to audiences. Shelley named a few roles played by actors such as Babe Ruth in The Sandlot, The Tooth Fairy in Santa Claus 2 and 3, Chick Gandil in Field of Dreams. Shelley LaFleur said Art was larger than life and meant for his family.
