Why did Warner Bros. Discovery cancel Batgirl but not The Flash?

On August 2, a number of stories claimed that Warner Bros. Discovery had cancelled the Batgirl movie, which was allegedly nearing completion and in the post-production phase. The rumours also stated that no platform will be used. For the purportedly $90 million movie’s distribution (i.e., neither their HBO Max platform nor a theatrical release).
What is the controversy of Ezra Miller?
After receiving official word from Warner Bros. Discovery that they were suspending the movie, supporters mobilised online to call for the studio to distribute the film. Several people questioned. Why the upcoming DCEU film The Flash, starring controversial actor Ezra Miller. Was not cancelled after intense internet discussion on whether the movie should be released.
So, WB/Discovery cancels Batgirl, a movie with a POC lead.

The Flash is still not being cancelled?
A tweet from Jimmy Folino (@MrNiceGuy513) titled “WhoDey. BLM, StopAsianHate” brought up the issue of why The Flash, which starred Ezra Miller. Was not cancelled despite starring an actress of colour, Batgirl. Ezra Miller rapes three women, kidnaps another, and is still at large, but WB/DC won’t cancel The Flash, according to the tweet. Not at all attractive.

The project’s hiring of directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah was revealed in May of last year. It was planned to debut at the time as DC’s first HBO Max original production. Leslie Grace played Barbara Gordon and the titular superhero in the movie, and Michael Keaton, a seasoned actor in Hollywood, returned to play Bruce Wayne/Batman. The antagonist known as Firefly was also planned to be played by Brendan Fraser.
Batgirl will incur additional marketing expenses
While this was going on, media like Variety reported that the studio’s new management believed that Batgirl will incur additional marketing expenses as a result of its merger with Discovery. It’s possible that the new administration was able to secure multiple projects for Ben Affleck to reprise his role as Batman. Affleck will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom before making an appearance in the upcoming The Flash film, according to Aquaman star Jason Momoa.
The fact that DC are willing to cancel Batgirl, a movie that's had ZERO production issues, just to supposedly save a bit of money, but haven't cancelled The Flash despite that movie's production being an utter nightmare and its main star being toxic… it's genuinely bizarre.
