When the director posted the picture in Handle. Immediately, fans started to rush the moment to question him asking, is Tom Hardy starring in Spiderman: No Way Home. Hence, After a short period, he deleted the picture.
Previously, in an interview, Tom Hardy teased the fans by stating that, “There is going to be a fight between Venom and Spiderman in Spiderman: No Way Home”. The director Andy Serkis also told the same news! Also, recently Venom: Let There Be Carnage Post-Credits scene leaked. By just seeing the cap he is wearing doesn’t mean that he will be there! And also, not to mention we cannot predict something just like that! So, anything is possible in the multiverse!
Venom could be in a Cameo role or in a Post-Credit Scene:
There are some predictions that Venom could be in a Cameo role or Post-Credit because, As Spiderman: No Way Home has plenty of Villains. With the Plot details and trailer release, five villains are on board and the sixth villain is not yet announced. The secret is not yet revealed. Now, the important thing to note here is, as the news that Venom is joining the team; he will be a villain too! especially could be the sixth villain. But, the chances are too low!
Venom Vs Spiderman?
Surprisingly, If two symbiotes meet, it should be massive and should segregate a separate, wholesome film for sure. The content and the anticipation will be two high!!
Along with other characters such as Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, Doctor Strange, and so on, leading to definitely awe-inspiring moments on their way. As Venom is a complete character, and of course, all the superheroes and supervillains should be given equal importance. That would be quite difficult too! Hence, the expectation regarding Venom as in Post-Credit or as a Cameo role is more than a villain character.
Mr. Venom Tom Hardy is not that bad!
Even though he is seen as a slight villain in the Venom movie; yet he is not that bad of a character. The audience sees him as Anti-hero and not a complete villain. Subsequently, if Venom gave a position as a villain in Spiderman: No Way Home, there will be severe competition with other villains. Moreover, Venom is like a good person when comparing other frightful and repulsive villains.
Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman version, Venom has been a deadly villain. But, there is a huge difference between Comic’s Venom and Cinematic Venom. In Film, apart from the horrid Venom, Naturally, Tom Hardy is s a benevolent person.
Besides, Comic’s Tom Hardy is slightly a bad person. In Spiderman 3, Eddie Brock’s character is a horrendous one. Joining Venom, Eddie will become a dreadful, atrocious character. Hence, that kind of atrociousness weighed as a villain character. Not this simple yet less atrocious Venom.
In the future, even if there is a Tom Hardy Venom and any of the Spiderman versions opens up, there shall not be the situation to show more of Spiderman’s Heroism and less Tom Hardy’s Villains. Hence, it is very clear that Spiderman, as well as Venom, will be starring as heroes. Also, Venom will not be horrible like any other villains in this movie (Spiderman: No Way Home). Even if joining other villains after hating the symbiote such as Spiderman will not happen. Also, the audience can’t see Venom as a villain, as they already positioned him as an Anti-Hero only.
Hence, from all these theories and proofs, Venom will not be the 6th Villain in this movie. There is a chance to show him only as a Cameo or in the Post-Credits scene.
