Hollywood diva Emily Blunt has teamed up with Ryan Gosling in the upcoming Universal film The Fall Guy. The project will be directed by Bullet Train filmmaker David Leitch, who was inspired by the venerable series of the same name from the 1980s. The film’s script was written by Drew Pearce, who collaborated with director David Leitch on Universal’s Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw. The specifics of the plot have been kept a secret.

What is the story of The Fall Guy?

The first season of Glen A. Larson’s programme aired on ABC from 1981 through 1986. It starred Lee Majors as a Hollywood stuntman who works a second job as a bounty hunter to supplement his income. Heather Thomas and Douglas Barr played his sidekick and a fellow stunt performer, respectively. Through their 87North shingle, Leitch and Kelly McCormick will both create the project. Gosling and Guymon Casady of Entertainment 360 will collaborate on the production. The movie will begin shooting in Australia later this year, and on March 1, 2024, it will hit theatres.
