On 10th September 2021, Vivo will release the new flagship Vivo X70 series. The new flagship series includes three new smartphones. Zeiss optics, Origin OS, and other updates are included.
Vivo has announced a global launch date for its X70 series. The three new devices from the Vivo are X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro + series will launch on September 10th. The global launch date will follow the launch of the new Vivo smartphone in China, the company’s hometown, on September 9th.

Now, a new tweet from popular insider Abhishek Yadav hints at a global launch, set a day after its first announcement in the company’s country China. Notably, Abhishek’s tweet also added that the new X70 series will launch from Origin OS wallpapers too.
In a post, the insider also shared some images that look like promotional posters. While the first image highlights the Vivo X70 Pro + rear camera module, the second image shows us the Origin OS Kinetic wallpaper. The picture only reads “ARRIVAL SOON” and the countdown is almost nine days. In other words, on September 10, 2021, the countdown will reach 0.
Inheriting the Vivo X60 series, Vivo’s new flagship series will feature an AMOLED screen and Zeiss optics. Both Pro models will also feature Zeiss T * coating that prevents flare, stray lightning, and ghosting. It will ship w ith Origin OS, an update to Vivo’s previous operating system, Funtouch OS.

Vivo X70 Pro’s camera module seems to be in all its glory. The X70 Pro will be next to the company’s new flagship product X70 Pro + model. Installed with Zeiss optics the module has a neat arrangement of lenses with an LED flash located next to a vertical stripe.

The Vivo X70 Pro sports have a large 6.5-inch display with curved edges. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200. 12GB of RAM, and equipped with a 6.7-inch 2K panel. The Pro + tilts to use a large f / 1.15 aperture, which is said to produce vibrant images. One of the models has a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
