In 2019, the couple announced that the music would be delayed as they prepared to wrap up the concert, and a cryptic message about “ABBA Voyage” was finally posted on social media last week. This announcement takes three and a half years. Ulvaeus and Andersson announced about new music – first two, then six, and the virtual performance – in the show.

The ABBA group said, “It’s been a long time since we composed music together. In fact, it’s almost 40 years actually. In the spring of 1982, we took a break, and now we decided it was time to end it”.

They said it was reckless. We waited over 40 years between album and album, “so we recorded the sequel” The Visit “[1981]. In fact, the main inspiration for the re-recording came from us. We were involved in creating the most epic concert you could ever dream of. So that we could sit in the audience and watch our digital self perform our songs. We are on stage for the purpose-built to build something for our followers.
