The 23-year-old cold case of the ruthless murder of Mineris Soriano was finally solved after the arrest of 49-year-old, Joseph Martinez. Soriano was an innocent 13-year-old at the time and was just an innocent child. Joseph was caught after 23 years due to the advancement of DNA technology. It was later discovered that Joseph himself lived in Corp City just a few floors below Mineris in 1999. Though no one from Mineris’s family could identify him he was told to have been there before by locals.

He might look like any other common man but beware because he’s actually a devil who ruthlessly strangled a 13-year-old, stuffed her in plastic, and threw her body in the dumpster.
What Went Down In 1999?
One day when 13-year-old Mineris Soriano didn’t return home from school on time her parents got worried and reported to the police. Three days passed by the police kept searching for Mineris but had no clue., when finally on the fourth day the police found her, dead.
They found Mineris Soriano’s body, it was stuffed in a plastic bag and thrown in a dumpster. But even after finding the body police couldn’t find the culprit for over 23 years due to lack of evidence. But finally, in 2021 with the advancement in technology, a DNA test helped the police find the culprit, Joseph Martinez.

The parents of the 13-year-old have been waiting for the justice of their daughter for 23 years. Thankfully, their wait has finally ended with Joseph’s arrest. They went on to thank the police and said they never lost hope that the police will find the killer.
