The famous streamer Ludwig Ahgren is all set to leave the Twitch platform and start live streaming on Youtube platform.
Ludwig Ahgren was born on July 6, 1995. He is a famous American YouTuber, live streamer and esports commentator. Ahgren is best known for being one of the largest live streaming on Twitch.

Twitch has always been known as the powerhouse for gaming streams with millions of creators and viewers. In April, Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren set a world record for the highest number of subscribers that was around 270,000. Ludwig had been with Twitch for three years. Ludwig has been attached to Twitch but has stunned the audience by his decision to swap to Youtube. Ludwig is one of the most subscribed Twitch streamer ever.
Reasons Behind Youtube Switch
In explanation of leaving Twitch, Ludwig gave his reasons. For the next Twitch contract, Ludwig was initially using Youtube as leverage. he further added, he is a twitch guy. People think of him and Twitch together. Ludwig takes Twitch as his identity.
However, later when he thought more about it, his opinion changed a little. YouTube started to make more sense to him, but he was not entirely sure. Later, Ahgren ended up clinging towards Youtube, where Ludwig announced leaving the Twitch platform and exclusively live streaming on the Youtube platform.
Ludwig stated that he realized, that even though being with Twitch for three-plus years, even though he has been recognized as the ‘Golden boy’ by the people. But Ludwig has never been loved particularly by Twitch. The response to Ludwig’s swapping decision of the platform by the Twitch was colder, as it bluntly wished him all the best and didn’t provide any counteroffers. This made Ludwig’s decision stronger towards Youtube. This shows Twitch has not been so responsive to its creators. Even once, Ahgren asked Twitch to have his subs capped, so that viewers could spend the limited amount of money per stream, but the request was declined by Twitch. Ludwig has kick-started his new journey on November 30. Ludwig’s decision may be surprising but he provided a curt explanation behind his decision. YouTube values its people and he has also planned to ramp his projects such as The Yard and Mogul Money game show. The fans are eagerly waiting for the result of Ludwig’s sudden move.

It is not only Ludwig who switched from Twitch to YouTube. Many other people have switched their platforms too. A few examples are Ben “DrLupo” Lupo and Tim Betar who jumped from Twitch to the Youtube platform.
