According to authorities, Terrell Owens was struck by a car following an argument with an unidentified individual during a pickup basketball match in the Calabasas, Calif. region on Monday. According to authorities, Owens, 49, wasn’t in need of medical assistance after the game when a man got into the vehicle and rammed it into Owens’ knee. The investigation into the assault with a lethal weapon is still ongoing. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Owens’ opponent in the pickup game fled the scene after colliding with the former NFL great. According to TMZ, no such arrests had been taken as of Tuesday morning, as well as Owens hadn’t yet officially acknowledged the issue.

It happened over a year after Owens made news in November 2022 for two distinct incidents involving police. Owens got into a viral fight with a female neighbour in their gated neighbourhood in Deerfield Beach, which led to the lady getting charged with a second-degree misdemeanour. The accusations were apparently withdrawn by prosecutors in February. TMZ released a video showing Owens striking and throwing down an outsider outside a CVS in Los Angeles a few weeks later. In a statement issued to the Associated Press at that point, Owens asserted self-defense. Owens has 1,078 career receptions for 15,934 yards as well as 153 touchdowns in 15 NFL seasons while playing for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills, and Bengals.

Terrell Owens Hit By A Car Following An Argument During A Pick-Up Basketball Game

Terrell Owens, a Pro Football Hall of Famer & former San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys great, got struck by a car on Monday night following a dispute on a basketball court, reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, cited to the Los Angeles Times. On Sunday, Owens had been playing basketball in Calabasas, California, when he unexpectedly got into a dispute with another player. According to TMZ, after the match, the individual in question hopped into a car and smacked Owens on one of his knees. According to the report, Owens was not wounded and did not require medical care as a result of the event. An investigation is in progress, but no arrests have been made. It’s not obvious what the discussion was about. Owens was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draught out of Chattanooga.

He played there throughout his first eight seasons before moving on to the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals. Owens finished his career with 15,934 receiving yards, third on the all-time list trailing only Larry Fitzgerald as well as Jerry Rice, and 153 touchdowns. In 2018, he received an induction into the Hall of Fame. Owens hasn’t appeared in the league since 2010, but he’s intimated that he may return at any point. Last year, he competed in the Fan Controlled Football League and recorded a sub-4.50 second 40-yard sprint at the age of 48. Owens became involved in his third incident in several years on Monday. Owens was seen hitting an alleged heckler in a CVS parking lot a year ago after the man apparently “made crude gestures and menacing statements” towards him. Owens has 1,078 career receptions for 15,934 yards along with 153 touchdowns in 15 NFL seasons playing for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills, and Bengals. He is third all-time in receiving yards & touchdowns, as well as seventh in catches.
