There aren’t going to be any love songs coming out of Taylor Swift’s brief romance with Matty Healy, a source tells Page Six. An insider told Page Six following news of Taylor Swift and Matty Healy’s breakup on Monday that everyone who really knows her has always viewed this as a fun, good-time thing that would last as long as it did and wouldn’t be a big deal once it ended. “All the media hype surrounding the former couple is stupid,” they said. There won’t be an album about this one. Summertime was the time for it. Do we all have amnesia about Tom Hiddleston? Jesus Christ. Swift can’t have fun with anyone without the press marrying her off to them, the insider added.

When she moves on, they basically have to have her file for divorce. Swift simply wanted to have some fun after her “stifling” relationship with Joe Alwin, which ended in April after six years of dating. After getting out some steam, she can sew down her oats without people claiming she’s already ‘head over heels’ and then that she’s breaking up with him. This is not a breakup. This is a natural evolution from a fun little thing whose time has passed. One month after going public with Healy, TMZ reported that the “All Too Well” singer was “single” again. It wasn’t long after the 1975 frontman attended Swift’s Nashville show that dating rumors began circulating.

Taylor Swift Was ‘Letting Off Steam’ With Matty Healy After A ‘Stifling’ Relationship With Her Ex Joe Alwyn

Taylor Swift did not intend her brief romance with Matty Healy to be serious, and there will be no love songs to come, according to a source who spoke to Page Six. According to the source, Swift “can’t have a good time with anyone without the press marrying her off to them.” The source also pointed out that it was just a “fun, good time thing” that was never meant to be big news. Having been in a “stifling” relationship with Joe Alwyn for six years, Swift apparently just wanted to have fun and “sew some oats.” Swift will not write an album about this and everyone seems to have forgotten about her previous relationship with Tom Hiddleston, according to the insider. The source explained that this is not a breakup, but rather a natural evolution of a “fun little thing whose moment is over”. Swift and Healy were spotted together at one of Swift’s concerts in May, confirming their romance. One month after going public with Healy, TMZ reported the “All Too Well” singer was “single” again.

The 1975 frontman was spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour show in Nashville in early May, sparking dating rumors. On one of the six concerts he attended, the “Somebody Else” singer even seemed to be buddy-buddy with Swift’s dad, Scott. While performing at a Scottish music festival, Healy hinted at their relationship, although they never directly addressed it. Is it all a bit confusing? Does it seem sincere? Does he intend to address it at some point? he asked the crowd. In the next hour, all of these questions and more will be ignored. It’s The 1975, ladies and gentlemen. Meanwhile, Swift told Massachusetts concertgoers that she has never been this happy in her life. For Alwyn, however, it wasn’t the same story. He felt “slighted” and “distraught” that she had moved on so quickly. The English actor, according to sources, put his “trust” in the “Karma” singer after she told him they were only friends while working on “Midnights”. It was noted, however, that there was no overlap between the two relationships. In spite of their split, the “Conversations with Friends” star keeps busy and focuses on himself.
