Vanessa Papa alleges that she received multiple threats

Vanessa Papa recently opened up about the criticism she received after The Ultimatum: Queer Love began airing.

In addition, she said that she had to ‘stay off’ social media after she received multiple death threats. Although she is fine, her mental health is supposedly scarred. 

Papa got candid about the hardship of dealing with online bullying during an interview with Insider.

She said, ‘I think I obviously came across as the villain, which is not what I intended nor would prefer.’

She continued, ‘I’ve had to stay off of social media because I’ve gotten so many literal death threats. It’s really insane. I’ve never experienced that in my life before, so it’s been a hard time.’

Subsequently, she stated, ‘And to see that kind of perpetuated by my castmates on their social media channels, it doesn’t feel right.’

If you didn’t know, Papa is being slammed online for her treatment of her original partner Xander Boger. Also, netizens are calling her out for ruining Lexi Goldberg and Rae Cheung-Sutton’s relationship.

Hence, she has received the label of the show’s ‘villain’ with fans reacting negatively towards her on social media.

Besides that, some TikTok users have even started to refer to her as Voldemort, the infamous villain of the Harry Potter series. 

Fellow castmates dub Vanessa Papa as Voldemort

In the second episode of ‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love’, Lexi Goldberg began calling Vanessa Papa Harry Potter’s antagonist Voldemort.

Furthermore, this has led fans to label her as Voldemort on the internet. However, not only netizens but also Papa’s fellow cast mates have dubbed her with the same name.

Additionally, Yoly Rojas took to TikTok took to his official TikTok account to address Papa being called Voldemort 

She said, ‘Why does Voldemort have you blocked on social media?’

Rojas further mentioned that she talked to Papa at a pride event after the show.

She admitted, ‘I mean, it was a while ago, but she is still shady.’

She added, ‘That’s all that TikTok was. It was just like if anyone’s wondering why Voldemort has been blocked, I think it’s because of that. But I’m not into everyone talking too much cr*p about it either.’
