Shawn Mendes Postpones Upcoming Show Dates To Focus On His Mental Health

Shawn Mendes is pausing his tour in order to concentrate on his mental health.
The singer of “Senorita,” 23, revealed on Friday that he is delaying the dates of his upcoming performances for his Wonder globe tour.
I’m going to have to postpone the next three weeks of gigs through Uncasville, Connecticut, until further notice, which kills my heart to tell, he wrote.
He said that he has been touring since he was 15 and being away from friends and family has always been difficult.”

“I need to take some chance to rest and take care of myself and my mental health, first and foremost, after talking with my team and medical professionals. I’ll let you know as soon as there are any new developments; I adore you guys “Finally, he said.
On June 27, Mendes began his global tour in Portland, Oregon, in promotion of his 2020 album Wonder.
On Saturday, he was scheduled to continue his tour in St. Paul, Minnesota. The date of the last performance he postp oned in Uncasville, Connecticut, is July 29.
The Grammy-nominated musician revealed to his fans in a candid Instagram post from December that he was having a “hard time with social media at the moment.”

Less than a year has passed since the divorce between Mendes and Camila Cabello in November 2021, according to news of his tour hiatus. The couple who were musicians dated for two years before splitting up. The 25-year-old Cinderella actress and Grammy nominee have both been vocal about how they dealt with the breakup of their relationship.

Mendes said earlier this year to Extra, “Camila and I have always been writers for as long as we’ve known each other, so we understand what it implies. And we honor what that signifies. There will always be open communication between us.
