Cardi B seemingly got into a tussle with a fan at Wireless Festival

Over the weekend, Cardi B appeared on the Wireless Festival stage but quickly found herself in the news for the wrong reasons. The Grammy-winning rapper chose to turn the heat up when she joined Megan Thee Stallion for a performance of her hit single “WAP.”

The New York native made the decision to approach a little closer to her audience, but soon a video of her acting as though she got into a fight with one of the audience members surfaced online. In the video played on the enormous screens of the highly regarded music festival, Cardi B appeared to be flailing her arms. The 29-year-old female emcee, however, clarified the situation on Twitter by stating that there was “no fight.”

What did Cardi B say in her response?

Cardi B, who is frequently active on Twitter, decided to take matters into her own hands when she tweeted, “Don’t believe everything you see,” in reference to the controversy surrounding her Wireless Festival performance. Cardi B appears to get into a fight with a fan in the footage that has surfaced, while another video posted by a fan portrays the rapper in a different way.

There was no fight, but it looked like someone grabbed Cardi B’s microphone. When a concertgoer grabbed her hair, she appeared to be leaning toward the crowd and swung her microphone in their direction. Cardi clarified the situation on Twitter by writing, “It wasn’t NO FIGHT! The entire thing is on @itsKenBarbie’s page, sharing a video posted by a fan.

Fans of Cardi B descended into Twitter as one user said, “I’m not the biggest fan of cardi b but Y’all calling her “getto” for combating a fan who inappropriately touched her is odd to me since when women don’t fight back y’all say they should’ve when they do y’all say it’s “getto.” “I LOVE CARDI MF’N BBBBBBBB!” one person chimed in. We won’t leave without a fight! Cardi B wins, hands down.

The second user wrote on Twitter, “We have your back doll we telling the TRUTH out there, they took your mic you grabbed it back then they tried to touch you and you pulled their hands off you IT’S SELF DEFENCE there was no FIGHT fans crossed the line! Story over!! QUIT LIATING TO MY GIRL! Don’t they have someone else to be focused on? another person added. never out of the bardigang business. Someone tried to get the mic, but one user wrote in a post. Another added, “Don’t even address it, let them be slow” as a conclusion.
