Mary Fitzgerald has officially taken the last name of her husband Romain Bonnet. Hence, she will now be selling homes as Mary Catherine Bonnet.

Mary Fitzgerald takes her husband’s surname
According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, Mary Fitzgerald filed a petition to change her name to Mary Catherine Bonnet earlier this month.
Moreover, recent reports reveal that the petition just went through. Thus, she will be sharing the same last name as her French husband, Romain Bonnet.
In addition, Fitzgerald mentions that it was not a decision. She claimed that initially, she wanted to keep the name for business purposes because everyone knew her as ‘Mary Fitzgerald.’
However, she is ready to let go of Fitzgerald since it is the last name of her former husband.
For the unversed, Fitzgerald is twelve years older than the French model.

According to reports, Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet first met each other while looking at homes.
Fitzgerald talked about her relationship during an interview with Women’s Health in August 2020.
She said, ‘Romain flew out to look at some homes in the area and I was his agent! We hit it off from there. His modeling agency encouraged him to relocate because of all the bookings in the L.A. area.’
Meanwhile, the couple tied the knot in a civil union ceremony in March 2018. However, they kept their legal marriage under tight wraps while planning a luxurious one.
A representative told Us at that time, ‘They chose not to tell any of their friends or family, as they were still trying to see if their relationship would work out in the long term.’
The couple then went on to get married for the second time in October 2019.
Bonnet spoke about it in February 2022, ‘It was amazing. Sometimes, we even go back and watch. It’s pretty amazing to be able to watch it again and again.’
Fitzgerald and Bonnet spent six nights in Bali for their honeymoon which began on 26th December 2022. They postponed the trip for nearly four years in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as work-related issues.
Meanwhile, the pair is currently working on home renovations. Both of them have previously shared plans to flip houses with the help of Fitzgerald’s real estate skills and Bonnet’s project management expertise.
