Neil was the first artist to take down his song from Spotify following Joe Rogan’s comments concerning vaccines and COVID-19 during the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Following this news, Joni announced she would be standing by Neil and bid adieu to Spotify. She shared a message on her website announcing that she will remove all her music from Spotify. Furthermore, she added that irresponsible people are spreading lies that could cost people their lives. She concludes her message by saying that expressing solidarity with Neil Young. She stands in support of the global scientific and medical communities on the issue at hand.

However, as of now, none of the members of the band has taken down their music. The Foo Fighters are still on Spotify.
