Throughout her memoir, she revealed personal insights about their relationship in a vulnerable manner. Paulina Porizkova noted that Ric Ocasek was both possessive and envious, asserting that he had tantrums of fury over her friendship with others, even the people who were gay. Afterwards, she explained that she had adapted her career and schedule to accommodate Ric Ocasek’s feelings since he wasn’t happy with her being around men. Paulina Porizkova wrote, “He flew into jealous rages frequently enough to cause me to comprehend the amount I made a difference to him. I quit doing bookings where I had male partners. I quit showing up on Saturdays or Sundays that were not helpful with [Ric Ocasek’s] plan.”
