Ice Spice’s fans went bonkers after she replied to a netizen tweet to unveil her ethnicity to her 473.8k followers on 13th November 2022 

The tweet read, ‘Ice Spice looks so Igbo. Like her real name is Chisom.’

The Bronx singer responded with, ‘i’m Nigerian but idk which tribe maybe u right.’

Subsequently, she wrote in a follow-up message, ‘Dominican too chill sisters.’

If you didn’t know, Ice Spice gained a massive number of followers after she attended Drake’s OVO fest this year. Furthermore, she got the opportunity to talk with multiple industry legends such as Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

According to her latest tweet, the 22-year-old singer is half-Dominican and half-Black.

In addition, Ice Spice’s father is a former underground rapper. The Bronx native talked about her father’s advice when she was facing her career trajectory.

She said, ‘He just basically tells me to continue to be myself and to be careful, ‘cause it can get grimey.’
