Sydney Sweeney, star of Euphoria, has sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted out and about in Encino, California on Monday wearing a glacier-sized diamond ring on her left ring finger. She wore a pastel-colored zip-up hoodie, black leggings, and brown boots (without the ring).
Sweeney has a new hairstyle. Previously blonde, she has turned red.
Sweeney and Jonathan Davino’s relationship
Since at least 2018, Sydney Sweeney has been linked to Jonathan Davino, a musician. Neither of them has confirmed their relationship. Apparently, the 37-year-old restauranteur owns a restaurant in Chicago.
Four years after the duo were first linked, the sighting of Sweeney prompted speculation that she was engaged to Jonathan Davino.
In Los Angeles last month, they were photographed together with friends. Davino, 37, and his father own Mista Pizza in San Francisco. In addition to being the sole heir of Pompeii Pizza, he is also from Chicago.
Sydney Sweeney has previously spoken candidly about the ups and downs she experienced when she first started dating.
In an interview for Cosmopolitan’s “Love Issue,” Sweeney explained why she does not date anyone in the entertainment industry.
Sydney explained, “I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors, musicians, or anyone in the entertainment industry because I can just be myself, and I have a great support system.”

On Euphoria, Sweeney’s character Cassie Howard is also a topic of discussion, as is her off-screen dating life. In season 2, Cassie became involved with Maddy’s (Alexa Demie) ex-boyfriend Nate (Jacob Elordi).
Sweeney’s scene partner gushed about collaborating with her on bringing the story to life as the shocking love triangle unfolded.
Jacob Elordi said that he was with Sydney every time. He says that it has been such a pleasure working with her the entire time because she is so good at what she does. “She brings the goods in every take, every scene,” Elordi, 24, told Entertainment Weekly in January.
