The rumors started surfacing after a source revealed to Life & Style that Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid supposedly hooked up after the former’s split with Camila Morrone.
The source said in a report published on 31st August 2022, ‘Leo and Gigi have hooked up a few times this summer.’
They further claimed, ‘They have known each other for several years. They’re super attracted to each other?’
Furthermore, they mentioned, ‘[Gigi] is exactly his type: gorgeous, sexy but low-key with a one-of-the-guys attitude.’
Moreover, another insider also confirmed to the outlet that indeed DiCaprio and Hadid had a fling.
They revealed, ‘It’s casu al and not a constant thing. But they have lots of mutual friends.’
However, a third source denied these claims while they spoke with Us Weekly. They further alleged that the duo is ‘just friends.’
The source told in an article published on 7th September 2022, ‘Leo does have his sights set on Gigi, but she hasn’t shown an interest. They’re friends, but she doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now. [She] doesn’t have her sights on him.’

Nevertheless, a source close to the 45-year-old actor bluntly addressed the topic while talking with Page Six in an interview.
They said that DiCaprio is not interested in having a serious relationship and will not date anyone all that old.
Furthermore, they confirmed, ‘By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more—they’re looking to get married and settle down.’
The insider added, ‘That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that. The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.’
