Prince William & Kate Middleton are all set to embrace the new roles in the royal family after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

New titles of Prince William & Kate Middleton are revealed after Queen Elizabeth’s death
On 8th September 2022, the news of Queen Elizabeth II was confirmed by the royal family. Following her death, British royal family members receive new titles and roles.
Nevertheless, Prince William will inherit the title of Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge his wife Kate Middleton will become the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge.
Furthermore, the bios on the official handle of the royal couple have also been updated following Queen Elizabeth’s death.
Their most recent bios read, ‘The official account of The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge and the Royal Foundation, based at Kensington Palace.’
Moreover, Prince William and Kate Middleton were previously known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The parents of three will further be called the Prince and Princess of Wales. The title was previously held by Williams’s father, Charles, and late mother, Diana.
British royal family members receive new titles
Prince William’s father King Charles III ascended as the monarch of the British throne following Queen Elizabeth’s death. He was previously called Prince Charles.
Furthermore, Charles’s second wife, Camilla will become Queen Consort upon her husband’s ascension. She was previously referred to as the Duchess of Cornwall.
The late queen announced the new title change during her Platinum Jubilee in February 2022.
She wrote at that time, ‘And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes king, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as queen consort as she continues her own loyal service.’
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and his American ex-actress wife Meghan Markle will maintain their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Regardless, their son Archie and daughter Lilibet do have an opportunity to become prince and princess in the future.
Nevertheless, the 37-year-old Harry continues to reside outside Los Angeles with his wife and family. William, the eldest son, meanwhile, is now the heir to the British throne. He continues to lead a traditional British royal life with his wife and family.
