Kanye West’s school is back ‘with a vengeance’
On 27th October, Kanye West’s Donda Academy employers sent an email to the parents of the students to reveal that they will close the institution until next year.
The message read, ‘First we would like to express our gratitude to the community of families and scholars that Donda Academy brought together.’
Moreover, it says, ‘However, at the discretion of our Founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately, Thursday, October 27. THERE IS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.’
In addition, the mail claimed that the school will reopen next fall.
It continues, ‘We intend to begin afresh in September of 2023, and we are confident that our scholars will continue to advance as the creative innovators, courageous influencers, and academic leaders of the next generation.’
However, only hours after receiving it, the parents and staff members received a follow-up email with a new announcement.
The content in the alleged mail was, ‘Join us tomorrow morning in worship for the return of Donda Academy.’
Furthermore, it stated, ‘With the help of our parents and community, we are back and returning with a vengeance!’
The message further mentioned, ‘The children of Donda are going to change the world. Apologies for the late email. See you bright and early.’
Kanye West opened a Christian private school called Donda Academy. Parents must sign NDAs to have their children attend. Price: $15,000 a year. The school’s not accredited. Here’s a video of kids from his Donda school singing “Good Morning, Donda.”

More about Kanye West’s Donda Academy
Kanye West’s Donda Academy opened its door for the second year in August this year. His late mother’s name, Donda West was the inspiration behind the institution’s name.
Moreover, it is located in the Simi Valley area of California and reportedly cost $15,000 a year in tuition. In addition, parents of the students are supposedly required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Nevertheless, the school has been under scrutiny ever since its establishment. Most recently, a Jewish teacher named Tamar Andrews resigned from his job as an educational consultant at the school amid the 45-year-old singer’s anti-Semitic rants.
A tweet was shared confirming Andrews’s exit from the institution.
It said, ‘Dr. Andrews immediately resigned from Donda Academy following Ye West’s tweet. Her last day was October 11, 2022, as she felt she could no longer support the organization.’
Kanye West is closing down his unaccredited school, Donda Academy, TMZ reports.
