2 min readKanye West has filed a lawsuit petition to legally change his official name to “YE”, according to the reports by The Variety. A judge from California must sign the documents off, for the name to change to “YE”. Kanye West provided no reasons other than “personal reasons” in the court documents. “Kanye Omari West” to “YE”, will be the change in the name. West is also in between the process of a divorce from Kim Kardashian. Kanye also released his eighth studio album, called “YE” in 2008.
West will be presenting the third wild party for the audience, to groove on the music of his new album. The party will be a listening party and obviously, stadium-sized. The Atlanta Stadium hosted the First party. The songs will be off his upcoming album “Donda”, the party will be at Chicago’s Soldier Field. According to the reports, Kanye West is rebuilding his Chicago Childhood home at the center of a huge football stadium. Reports are also providing pictures of the house, construction footage, etc. The “Donda” event will also feature Jay-Z, The Weeknd(Abel Tesfaye) and Rihanna, etc.
Kanye has deleted all his old photos from Instagram and has started putting new photos. The first picture was of a 1600 sq. ft. home, shared with his beloved late mother and “Donda”. Kanye mother passed away in 2007. The release of the album “Donda” is still pending. It is scheduled for the 6th of August, 2021 after getting delayed twice due to corona. In an interview in June 2018, West said “I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible, it means ‘you’”. He also said “So I’m you, I’m us, it’s us. It went from Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye – just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confusion, everything. The album is more of a reflection of who we are.”
On the other side, Drake is also delaying his new album called “Certified Lover Boy”. They both are reportedly creating an album-release battle for themselves. The same kind of battle happened years ago when West clashed with 50 Cent in 2007. The two clashing albums were “Graduation” and “Curtis”. “YE” is the official Twitter and Instagram account’s handle of Kanye. Recently, fans got an emotional notion when Kim Kardashian posted and greeted a warm “Happy Birthday” for Kanye.
