Franky Venegas aka Kodiyakredd of Island Boys was taken into custody over the weekend for investigation of domestic battery in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Island Boys member Franky Venegas was arrested on 6th May in Pompano Beach, Florida. Moreover, he was detained for allegedly slapping and shoving his girlfriend into the pool.
According to reports, the incident occurred near the pool area of an Airbnb rental after Venegas’ girlfriend threatened to call off their relationship.
Nevertheless, Venegas took to his official social media handle on Sunday to announce his release. Subsequently, he posted a picture of his mugshot online.
Besides that, the rapper insisted in the caption of his post that his arrest ‘is not what it seems.’
Additionally, he went on to say that life is about ‘peace and prosperity.’ He also mentioned that, ’24 hour lockdown and fighting demons nobody cared now they do.’
Meanwhile, his arrest comes months after the Island Boys walked off from ‘Impaulsive’ last year.
It took place when ‘Impaulsive’ member George Janko asked one of them a financial-based question on the podcast.
He questioned, ‘I think, if God forbid, it doesn’t go in your guys direction – for real, I think you guys take all of your jewelry assets and invest it in something so you guys will never be broke again.’
The Island Boy addressed the situation by saying, ‘No I wouldn’t regret it. I went, probably five times more viral than in that podcast.’
