Is Skete Davidson Really Dead? Kanye West’s Deleted Instagram Explored
2 min readIn a distressing Instagram post, Kanye West claimed that Pete Davidson, also known as Skete, had passed away.
What was in Kanye West’s post?
Many people were stunned earlier today when the Praise God rapper shared a photo on the social media site in response to the breakup of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and the Saturday Night Live comic. The 45-year-old shared a screenshot of a phoney page with the headline: “Skete Davidson dies at age 28” in the since-deleted tweet. Kid Cudi intended to perform at the funeral but he was afraid of the bottle throwers, it said at the bottom.
Kim Kardashian pleaded to Kanye West to take down the post
It has since been taken down when it came to light that Kim, 41, had pleaded with her ex-husband to delete the offensive image. Instead, a notice on the Grammy-winning artist’s page reads, “No posts.” Kim, who recently ended her relationship with Pete, 28, did not publicly express her opinions on Ye’s post, but an insider told that this was not the case behind the scenes. Kim ‘has fiercely supported Pete and has tried to convince Kanye to take it down,’ according to a source. She genuinely cares about him and will stand up for him in the future.
What are the rumours spreading about the former power couple?
This has also ended any rumours that the former power couple, who are parents to four children, may soon get back together. According to a source, “She’ll never get back together with Kanye after the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects.” She has worked extremely hard to create a positive co-parenting environment for the kids. “She won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour from him,” he said. Kim and Kanye were married in 2014, but it wasn’t to last, as the Skims executive filed for divorce in February of last year.
However, it was believed that Kim and Kanye were amicable once more after taking some time away from the spotlight, with a source mentioning how well they had been “co-parenting” their children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
