Transgender person, Destinee LaShaee died after being featured on “My 600-Lb Life.” She was 30 years old. The death of LaShaee’s brother, Matthew Ventress, was announced in a post on his Facebook page on Feb. 8.

The rapper wrote on Facebook that he accepts him for who he is. “No, I’m sorry bro, I accept you for who you are.” “I accept every flaw you have.” He felt sorry for her because she felt alone.

Who is Destinee LaShaee?

In 2019, Destinee LaShaee appeared on TLC’s “My 600-Lb Life” for the seventh season, in which she opened up about mental health challenges. She opened up about her struggles with food.

My only job is to wait for food all day. Destinee said on the episode that she doesn’t see her family and friends, except when they come to visit her. She said the only thing she is constantly doing is trying to get out of her depression and pain at this point. She said that the only thing can turn to is food to do so. “I can feel it killing me.”

Throughout 2021, Destinee LaShaee lost almost 500 pounds. In addition to updating their followers, they published motivational quotes, and other snapshots of text ahead of their final Instagram post, an image with the caption, “Gracefully Broken.”

Nevertheless, Destinee LaShaee made significant progress in getting healthy. By mid-2020 she was posting pictures of her new body frequently to Facebook and Instagram. She qualified for skin-removal surgery once she lost hundreds of pounds.

TLC extended its condolences to Destinee’s family and friends after the news of her death was confirmed.

The cable network said it was saddened to learn of Destinee Lashae’s passing, whose weight-loss story was featured on its show My 600-Lb Life. The family and loved ones of Destinee are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
