Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa Gharachedaghi claimed that Raquel Leviss checked into a mental hospital for “sympathy” after her affair with Tom Sandoval became public. Daaaaaaamn, if I knew I would get sympathy for checking myself into a mental hospital every season of Shahs, I should have checked myself in sooner. You own your s–t! Gharachedaghi commented on Friday’s Page Six Instagram post. There were mixed reactions to the “Shahs of Sunset” star’s sentiment, with some calling her “disgusting” but others applauding her for being so sincere. You don’t really know what this girl is going through, and there is a stigma associated with mental health.

There have been mistakes made by everyone on Bravo, but none have been bullied and attacked the way this girl has, one fan wrote. Page Six confirmed earlier on Friday that Leviss, 28, had checked herself into a treatment center for mental health treatment more than a month after her affair broke. The “Vanderpump Rules” star’s rep told Page Six that her family decided Raquel needed mental health treatment months before the relationship was discovered. Her rep stated Leviss had planned to seek “mental health and trauma therapy” before the March 23 reunion taping, but waited until finishing her filming commitments.

The Allegations Are Made By Golnesa Gharachedaghi, Who Claims That Raquel Leviss Was Seeking Treatment For ‘Sympathy’

Holding nothing back. The Shahs of Sunset actress Golnesa Gharachedaghi criticized Raquel Leviss for seeking treatment for mental health issues following her affair with Tom Sandoval. In an Instagram comment on Friday, April 14, Gharachedaghi, 41, said that if she had known that it would gain her sympathy, she should’ve checked herself into a mental health facility. Own your shit! Among social media users, some praised Gharachedaghi for being honest and others encouraged her to leave Leviss alone. In reply to the entrepreneur, one user wrote, Online bullying, threats, and hatred are disgusting. Anyone would suffer serious mental health struggles if they were in her situation – there’s no doubt in my mind. I wish people would stop posting before they do so and have empathy for one another. A representative for Leviss told Us Weekly Friday morning that the 28-year-old former beauty queen was undergoing mental health treatment. The statement said Raquel and her family decided to seek mental health counselling before the relationship was discovered. Before the VPR reunion was taped on March 23, Raquel had planned to admit herself. Originally, she was supposed to attend the pre-reunion but decided to finish filming instead. Production and Bravo were aware and supportive of her journey to better mental health.

One month after news of her affair with Sandoval, 40, made headlines, Leviss has decided to enter treatment. TomTom’s cofounder split from longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix after she discovered his infidelity. The cheating scandal prompted Leviss to apologize to Madix, sharing that she was speaking with a counsellor about her personal issues. Often I do not prioritize my friendships over my intimate relationships in an effort to gain emotional validation, sometimes negatively affecting others and not considering my own well-being,” she wrote via Instagram on March 8. By understanding my behaviour and making healthier choices, I am taking steps to improve my health. Both Leviss and Sandoval faced their costars at the taping of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion last month, but they have also faced criticism from the public. After news broke of Sandoval’s affair, his restaurant Schwartz & Sandy’s – owned by co-star and friend Tom Schwartz – had to deal with the backlash. We appreciate the many words of support, but we also understand the anger directed at Schwartz and Sandy’s businesses as a result of the recent news, the Instagram page wrote last month. However, there are those of us who are not famous who have donated our time, energy, and money in order to make this restaurant a reality. Responding to the drama on Yelp, the West Hollywood establishment’s account posted a lengthy statement.
