In 1999, Eminem and Christina engaged in an infamous feud after Christina said some inappropriate things about his personal life.
According to her, Eminem married his longtime girlfriend, Kim, secretly. As a further explanation, Christina pointed out that some of Eminem’s lyrics indicate violence, which she also claimed to relate to Kim.
It was inevitable that Eminence was not happy. In his mega-hit 2000 song, “The Real Slim Shady,” Michigan rapper Slim Shady delivered a few scathing lyrics against the Latin singer.
It goes like this: “Little b***h put me on blast on MTV ‘Yeah, he’s cute, but I think he’s married to Kim, hee-hee.’
Christina, who had enough of Eminem’s disses, penned a song of her own, defending herself against the rapper.
In her 2002 album, Stripped, their song “Can’t Hold Us Down” contains the lyrics: “So what? Am I not supposed to have an opinion? Should I keep quiet just because I’m a woman? Call me a b***h cause I speak what’s on my mind. Guess it’s easier for you to swallow if I sat and smiled.”
At the 2002 MTV Music Awards, Eminem and Christina seemed to have buried their hatchet after their contentious beef continued for a couple of years.

Things between the two had seemed to settle for years, but in 2018, things changed. The rapper mentioned Christina just one more time in his freestyle track, “Kick-Off,” resulting in utter shock from fans.
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen one year later, the Genie in a Bottle singer discussed what Eminem was saying about her in his song.
There hasn’t been a fight between the two for quite some time. Therefore, it is assumed that both of them have gone on with their respective lives despite their differences.
