Delhi Government imposes Night curfew amid Rising Coronavirus cases

Covid restriction in the national capital, night curfew begins in Delhi starting tonight 10 PM to 5 Am full curfew except for essential services until the 30th April. The government takes action after we see a high number of cases coming up every single day. More than 28,000 cases in the city in the last 10 days that is why Delhi put under night curfew 10 Pm to 5 AM every day. In the Last 24 hours, 3548 Cases of the COVID-19 virus and 15 deaths were reported on Monday. There will be a heavy restriction on movement in Delhi except for essential services. At the central and state-level government going to tackle a very sharp and significant rise in coronavirus cases across the country particularly in Delhi where more than 400o cases per day have been seen.

The Chief Minister said the complete lockdown will not be economically feasible. People were violating covid-19 rules like not wearing a mask and not maintaining social distancing in Delhi as well as others states. A week ago, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

said that the national capital is hit by the 4th Wave of COVID-19,  ye lockdown won’t be imposed. “As per the current situation, we are not considering imposing a lockdown. We are closely monitoring the situation and such a decision will only be taken after due public consultation” -statement by Kejriwal as saying by news agency PTI.
