Coldplay Will Release Their Final Music in 2025, Chris Martin

Chris Martin revealed in an upcoming interview with BBC Radio 2 to Jo Whiley that by 2025, the group is intending to wrap up making new music. Martin is the rock band frontman.

In the next few years, it seems to be an end for Coldplay. A clip was shared in which Martin was questioned in the quote: That Coldplay would stop releasing the music after 2025. Whiley previewed the show on today’s installment of Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.

Will Coldplay Stop Releasing Music in Few Years?

In an interview, Chris Martin says that their proper last record will come out in 2025 after that they will only tour. He further added, “Maybe we’ll do some collaborative things but the Coldplay catalogue as it finished then.”

It has been noted by Whiley that she can’t be always sure about how serious Chris Martin is being. His statement is taken as a grain of salt could have a reason for it.

Back in 1996, Coldplay was formed in London. It has given big hits to the world including, “Fix you”, “Paradise” and “Yellow”. The band has given nine albums. The recent one is of October, “Music of the spheres”. It features a collaboration with Selena Gomez

Coldplay Albums

The first album dropped by Coldplay was in 2000. The album was Parachutes.

Coldplay is scheduled to go on an international tour next year in support of their ninth album, “Music of the spheres”.

Since their A Head Full of Dreams Tour in 2016 as well as 2017, it will be marked as the band’s first time touring.

Earlier this year, while speaking to NME, Chris Martin said that plan for the Coldplay was always to make 12 albums. He said, “It is a lot to pour everything into creating them. I love it and it’s amazing, but it’s intense too,”. Further, he added, “I feel like because I know that challenge is finite, making this music doesn’t feel difficult. It feels like, ‘This is what we’re supposed to be doing.”

Well, the full interview will be broadcast on 23 December, Thursday. Also, it has not been cleared by Coldplay that how many albums would they drop before 2025.
