Brad Pitt has revealed that he is nearly set to retire from his successful acting career.

He is a Hollywood A-lister and is one of the most sought-after actors globally. 

The 58-year-old celebrity has many acclaimed performances under his belt after being in the film industry for roughly 30 years.

Brad Pitt hints that he might retire soon

Brad Pitt, a notable figure worldwide, revealed that he plans to retire from the film industry soon.

The actor recently sat down with GQ magazine for an interview. During the same, he confessed that he is in the last part of his Hollywood career.

Pitt said, ‘I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?’

He continued, ‘I’m one of those creatures that speaks through art. I just want to always make. If I’m not making, I’m dying in some way.’

While the top-tier star did not mention when he plans to retire, he said that his perspective shifted due to the lockdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Primetime Emmy Award winner shared, ‘I think joy’s been a newer discovery, later in life. I was always moving with the currents, drifting in a way, and onto the next.’

The Fight Club actor recently bagged his first Oscar for acting for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as Cliff Booth.

He was previously awarded an Oscar in 2014 as a producer on the biopic, 12 Years a Slave.

Brad Pitt opens up about suffering from low-grade depression

Brad Pitt talked about coming to terms with his ‘low-grade depression’ during the last two years.

The Se7en actor mentioned, ‘I think joy’s been a newer discovery, later in life. I was always moving with the currents, drifting in a way, and onto the next. I think I spent years with a low-grade depression, and it’s not until coming to terms with that, trying to embrace all sides of self, the beauty and the ugly, that I’ve been able to catch those moments of joy.’

On the personal front, Pitt is currently locked in a legal battle with former wife Angelina Jolie. He has sued her for selling her shares of the wine business they co-owned together since 2008.

On the work front, he is set to appear in David Leitch’s Bullet Train which is scheduled to drop on 5th August.
