Blink-182 Bassist Mark Hoppus Announces He’s ‘Cancer Free’: ‘I Feel So Blessed’

Mark Hoppus of Blink – 182, a Rock band member updates his health condition on a social media post saying it is good news. The singer is been in chemotherapy and the treatment has done its job.
On Wednesday, he wrote on an Instagram and Twitter page mentioning that he is “cancer-free”. He continues to thank God and Universe, his friends and family who sent him strong support, kindness, and love. He says, he just saw his oncologist and he has to get his scan done every 6 months and it is going to take him this whole year to get back to normal. But, “Today is an amazing day,” he wrote on his social media page.
Earlier, he posted a picture showing his hair growing back in his bald scalp. He was so happy and confused at the same time because his hair used to be black. What he shows is white-colored hair growing back on his head.
Mark Hoppus reveals about his cancer conditions:
In June, he reveals that he had cancer. At first, he didn’t disclose what kind of classification he had. But, he gets more specific about that on a Twitch session, once.
He revealed that his classification of cancer is large B-cell Lymphoma Stage 4-A. This means he has entered stage four in different parts of his body. In July, he was perplexed determining what is 4 parts but he gets it has already entered in many parts of his body and it is in an advanced stage. Also, he reveals that it is Stage 4 that has blood-related and not bone-related.
Furthermore, in a statement, the 49-year old gave the details about he actually felt during his treatment every week. In the first week, he is like a zombie that fell into an electric fence and is just in a shock. Whereas, in the second round of chemo, felt so weak and tiring. As of the third week, he felt to be more Nauseous and the entire related thing he went through.
Moreover, he says, he is afraid and blessed at the same time. Cause he has incredible doctors and friends and family to take care of and get him through this. He has some more months of his treatment ahead and he is hopeful and positive. He is waiting to be cancer-free and promises he will see everyone in his concert in the future.

Blink – 182, a Rock band that started in 1992. Along with Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Scott Raynor (drummer) are in the band.
This California-based band is always with a blend of fast-paced pop and punk music. This greatly led them to major commercial successes. Some of them are, Adam’s Song, All the Small Things, What is My Age Again? And so on.
Hoppus married Everly Skye. She is an MTV executive. They share a son named Jack, born in the year 2002.
Back in July, he is going through improved spirits and health. Also, his health condition is quite noticeable even before his doctor given his good word. Finally, he is re-missioning from cancer. At the end of this year, he will finally be out of cancer and lead a healthy life.
