We should really work towards stopping the practice of saying things that seem good or well-intentioned, regardless of whether they are healthy or unhealthy, big or small, sexy or not sexy. On social media, fans expressed their support for the ‘Into You’ singer. In the words of one fan, she’s an angel on earth and doesn’t deserve to be treated this way. According to another, everyone should leave her alone and mind their own business. There was also a tweet saying, Being skinny is fine, not being skinny is fine, having curves is fine, not having curves is fine, bashing someone for their body type is not okay.
“The body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants, drinking on them, eating poorly, and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider ‘my healthy’.”

Fans Back ‘Into You’ Singer Ariana Grande After Body Shamers Taunted Her For Being Too Thin
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Ariana Grande discussed comments made by others about her appearance, including her own. It was the Grammy-winning artist’s intention to “address concerns” and talk about how it feels to be a person with a body, and being seen and being paid so much attention. She has faced criticism on social media from viewers who have called attention to her weight and claimed that her face has changed over time as she films the ‘Wicked’ remake in London. In response to fans who complained that she appeared “too thin” in recent photos, the ‘Thank U, Next’ singer assured them that she is “healthy.” The singer urged fans not to comment on other people’s appearances in a three-minute TikTok video. As Grande sported a white handbag across her body, she lightened hair was pulled back securely, framing her flawlessly presented face and glossy lips. Initially, she said, I don’t do this often. It doesn’t appeal to me. I’m not very good at it. Nevertheless, I would like to address your concerns about my body and discuss what it means to be a person with a body and to be observed and paid close attention to. It is possible to look healthy and beautiful in many different ways. ‘Snowflake, the White Gorilla’ alum continued, saying the body that you compared my current body to was the healthiest version of mine.
When I looked at the way you consider my health, which was not my health, I was taking a lot of antidepressants, drinking heavily, and eating poorly at the lowest point of my life. Although she shouldn’t have to discuss her health problems, the Grammy-winning singer believes being honest and transparent might benefit others. It’s important to keep in mind that healthy can look different for everyone. Secondly, you don’t know what someone is going through even if you are coming from a loving or caring place. They may be working on it or have a support system that they’re going through with. The ‘Bang Bang’ singer urged everyone to be gentle with each other and themselves. The singer also told her followers, No matter what phase you’re in, you’re beautiful. The ‘Victorious’ star ended the video by saying, Sending you guys a lot of love, and I think you’re beautiful no matter what you’re going through, no matter there is no change to the weight you are carrying, no matter how much makeup you wear, no matter what cosmetic procedures you have had or have not had. Simply because I think you’re beautiful. Have an exceptionally gorgeous day, and I’m sending you a ton of adoration. Fans via social media took to the comment section to show their support ‘Into You’ artist.

We really need to be kind to each other. No matter the platform. We’re all humans going through the same human experience. No matter what the world tried to tell us. We’re all the same.

The world is far too comfortable with commenting on everything regardless of the effect it’ll have on the subject matter & this pains me to see, such a pure soul 🥺
