In cooperation alongside the French Riviera town of Nice as well as the top-ranked French movie institution Louis-Lumiere. Amazon Prime Video is introducing the Victorine Narrative Lab, a mentorship program for budding authors.

Amazon Prime Video would provide aspiring writers with creative and technical coaching. From prominent French artists and scriptwriters. As well as academics attending Louis-Lumière, as they conceive, create, and polish their debut motion picture. Prime Video would receive first-look access to the screenplays at the end of this Experiment. And would have the option to work with the author on developing concepts further.

From January to May 2022, a five-month mentorship program shall be happening in the Victorine facilities in Nice and digitally. An invitation for proposals for the very first initiatives will be out shortly.
Sylvie Landra, head of the AMPAS’s European activity group, and Sébastien Cauchon. A senior diplomat at the French movie marketing group UniFrance Movie International came up with the idea for the program. Cauchon and Landra recently collaborated to enhance AMPAS’ Ladies in France Gold Fellowship Prize.

Words from the Makers

“Facilitating authors’ enormous richness and imagination. As well as acknowledging the hard work and skill of creative communities. It is essential to Amazon Entertainment’s approach throughout Europe,” Georgia Brown, chief of Amazon Studios in Europe, stated.

“I simply can not wait to see all the products of these collaborative efforts. As well as the intriguing concepts such authors might very well recreate,” Brown said. “We’re delighted to mate with the town of Nice. As well as the ENS Louis-Lumière to create this fresh support network for professional writers.
According to Thomas Dubois, Amazon Pictures’ chief of French Amazon Exclusive. It was “vital to the firm” to “give back to the wonderful community of brilliant authors. Throughout French people and encourage a variety of tales via programs such as this one.”
Amazon wants to “offer these ambitious authors an opportunity of being heard. And a big help for seeing their concept into something greater,” according to Dubois.
