After last year’s release of the Infinity Gauntlet Lego set, the company has released another Marvel set. Thor’s Hammer (aka Mjölnir) including 979 pieces was unveiled by the firm for the celebration of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.
This set from the Marvel line is primarily aimed at adults who are passionate about building and displaying models. In the product description, the manufacturer notes that the item is an authentic recreation of Mjölnir. It is a character from the Marvel universe. Marvel Studios’ 23-movie Infinity Saga features Thor wielding this magical weapon with devastating effect.
Currently, pre-orders for the near-life-size model are available on the company’s official website, and it will be exclusively available at Target stores.

A description of the set
With the stand included, the set will be about 18 inches high and contain 979 pieces. Mjölnir will be 11.6 inches wide, according to the official website. This Lego piece stand is fashioned in the form of crystals and stones. A display plate is included, which reads: “THE INFINITY SAGA, MJ*LNIR.” The plate also features brand logos.
Three miniature models including the Infinity Gauntlet, Tesseract, and Odin’s Fire can be found in the opening compartment on the top front of the hammer.
The Thor Hammer set comes with a miniature model of the “God of Thunder” himself. It is placed on the main stand plate of the model or on an extra tile.
A promotional image of the product shows Thor with his own mini Mjölnir and his Asgardian armor designed from Phase 1 of MCU’s films.
We do not yet have building instructions for the set. It is not known how difficult it is to build. The manual will be uploaded to their website in mid-February.
