A113 Appears In Most Of The Disney Movies
If you are a Disney die-hard fan then you must have seen a mysterious number appearing often in its movies at one or the other time. The number is often seen on some car’s number plate, hotel number plate, or elsewhere in Disney-associated films.
Well, fans have got curious about it and some of them have decoded its mystery too. Apart from the fans, Pixar’s co-founder has decoded the meaning of A113 too. Some of the fans have got the meaning of it right though.
The Mystery Decoded Behind A113
As per Pixar’s Co-founder John Lasseter, A113 is actually the number of animation classrooms present in the California Institute of the Arts. John had attended the class himself and the mysterious code A113 comes straight from there.
While John explained the whole A113 mystery, it was on Twitter that many fans wanted to know the reason behind using the code often, and yes the decoding of it has amazed them.
It’s an inside joke by the director. It refers the classroom “A113” on campus.

Disney Featured The Number A113 Several Times
After having an encounter with the code A113 several times, it was decided that it’s an Easter egg by the California Institute of the Arts. Owing to the animation classroom of the art Institute, it was used in several Pixar’s movies. Movies that had A113 in it though were A Bug’s Life, Brave, Cars, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, etc.
The number had been shown differently in Disney Pixar movies. However, it’s just a kind of honor to the classroom that had first taught animation with digital brushes and graphics and all. Moreover, just like the number 3000 in the Avengers movie, it was A113 that went trending on Twitter for some time to decode it as it amazed them quite a lot.
