Thor: The Dark World’s director reveals that Loki died in his original cut

To all the fans, we have got some interesting news about your favorite character Loki of Thor: The Dark World. The Director of Thor: The Dark World, Alan Taylor revealed that the God of mischief-Loki had originally died in his first cut of the film to save Thor. In the original scene, Loki stabbed the monster who was attacking Thor. But later, the monster stabbed him back. Although, Loki killed the monster he died too for the good.

Alan Taylor has been awarded Emmy Award and said in the interview with THR that this scene was more fitting to the film. He said it was the demand of the script and therefore, this first cut was way different from the final scene.

Taylor thinks that this twist will be made the film more magical and interesting. He also admitted that the present skill set was not adequate for such a big film.

Taylor said, “I really admire the skill set of somebody who can go in with a personal vision – like Taiki Waititi or James Gunn.” He further added, “And manage to combine it with big corporate demands. I think my skill set may be different.”

“The version I had started off with had more childlike wonder; there was this imagery of children, which started the whole thing…There was a slightly more magical quality. There was weird stuff going on back on Earth because of the convergence that allowed for some of these magical realism things. And there were major plot differences that were inverted in the cutting room and with additional photography — people [such as Loki] who had died were not dead, people who had broken up were back together again. I think I would like my version.”

Taylor is accountable for the episodes- Games of Throne and Mad Men. Moreover, he is working on ‘The Many Saints of Newark‘, a prequel to Sopranos. He has admitted that it is “the hardest job he has ever done”.

Thor: Love and Thunder

An American Superhero film- Thor: Love and Thunder is another film going to be released. It is directed by Taiki Waititi. This time the script is designed to be fully romantic. So, we will get to see something different in addition to prior action and thrill.

Jennifer Robinson is the writer but Taiki has co-written the script with him. Taiki understood the fans want some romantic stuff in the film. As he also admitted, “What are people expecting the least from this franchise? Oh! I know- A full-blown Love Story.”

However, the main plot of Thor: Love and Thunder is still a mystery. But, what we know is that it’s going to be stupendous. According to sources, in this film, we will get to see the origin of Lady Thor.

In Thor: Love and Thunder, you will see that Thor is no more capable and his powers are taken by Lady Thor. But there’s a problem. Lady Thor i.e. Jane has undergone cancer treatment. So, whenever she becomes Lady Thor, she loses all the benefits of her treatment. Thus, if she continues to be Lady Thor then she might have to die in the future.
