“Hollywood is boycotting me,” says Johnny Depp in his First Interview Since Losing Libel Case

Johnny Depp admits that he feels he is being boycotted by Hollywood because his latest film, Minamata, has not yet been released in the United States.

While interviewing to The Sunday Times, Johnny Depp said that he had suffered a surreal time of 5 years being accused by Amber Heard. Johnny addressed his situation and position in the Hollywood industry and called it the “absurdity of media mathematics”. Depp has filed a lawsuit against Heard costing him, $50 million dollars. Heard charged Depp with domestic abuse and charged a case in 2018. Next April, the trial will take place. Depp has lost all the legal efforts for appealing the verdict.

A 2018 article referred to Depp as a“wife-beater”. Johnny cannot talk about his case or relationship with Amber Heard publicly. Johnny’s Minamata flopped and this made the actor upset. Johnny Depp has blamed his personal issues for the bad verdict of the movie. The role for Johnny is of W Eugene Smith, an American photojournalist- set to expose the impact of mercury poisoning in 1970s Japan.

Minamata was premiered on Friday in the U.K. and Ireland, but The U.S. release is yet to be announced. The creators of the Fantastic Beasts franchise forced Depp to leave the franchise after he failed his liberal case. Mads Mikkelsen has replaced Depp as the Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald from the franchise. Johnny Depp still has a huge fan following left, who support him no matter what. The San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain will present a Lifetime Award to Johnny Depp. The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will also be celebrating Captain Jack Sparrow of the Pirates Of The Caribbean.

The actor thanked his loyal fans for their support. The Judges have told Johnny to determine the donations made to ACLU by Amber Heard of $7000000 dollars that she took from Depp. Heard, 35, has announced that she is now a mother to a baby girl. The name of her daughter is Oonagh Paige. Amber is all set to play the role of Mera in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, which will go on-screen in 2022.
