THIRTY NINE K-DRAMA : Cast and Plot
Son Ye Jin (a.k.a. Cha Mi Jo) of Crash Landing At You, who previously made headlines for her marriage announcements with fiancé and co-star Hyun Bin, is returning to Netflix with Thirty Nine.
Hospital Playlist celebrity Jeon Mi Do as well as Hometown Cha Cha Cha actress Kim Ji Hyun round out the main cast.
Cha Mi Jo, the lead dermatologist of a Gangnam hospital, will be played by Son Ye Jin.
“Mi Jo is a personality that is near to ideal,” director Kim Sang Ho said of her portrayal. Her parents were rich, and she was born in a caring and ethical home despite being orphaned as a child. She is stunning on the outer as well as the within.”
Jung Chan Young, played by Jeon Mi Do, is an acting coach who formerly desired to be an actor. Chan Young, according to the director of Thirty Nine, is by far the most interesting of all the characters.
“If the part does not really suit the actor properly, then it may have finished diverting attention both from the role as well as the artist,” he gushed about hiring Jeon Mi Do as Jung Chan Young. Considering this, Jeon Mi Do is a master at maximizing a character’s attraction. She digs deep into the role and performs with conviction. Chan Young would accurately represent such honesty.”
Jang Joo Hee, who certainly serves in the administration of a retail shop, is played by Kim Ji Hyun. Moreover, according to the director, Joo Hee is lively, and Kim Ji Hyun’s natural nature has given the role more dimension.
