Check out the new teaser for Amazon’s Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power if you want to see what a half-billion-dollar TV program looks like. Although viewers were enthralled by the scenery and can’t wait to watch the series, some were concerned about the CGI.
The trailer was unveiled during Super Bowl LVI, and it appears like we’re set to go on a fascinating journey across the world of Middle-earth.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, wowed the world and earned him countless prizes. However, it has been almost 8 years since fans of Middle-earth have seen anything linked to the series. We last saw the intriguing universe of famed author JRR Tolkien in the 2014 film The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

“Too much CGI and action. Tolkien’s work was about the characters, their connections, and their world, not your next blockbuster action scenes. Really should have had Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson there. Doesn’t look good and I’m very worried,” said a person on social media.
Many, on the other hand, praised the trailer and expressed excitement for the series’ release.

When Will “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Release?
The season is set to launch on Prime Video on September 2, 2022. The new series will take place thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings event.
It recounts the crafting of the Rings of Power, the birth of the Dark Lord Sauron, the history of the island realm of Numenor, and the ultimate union between elves and humans throughout Middle-second earth’s age.
