‘Star Trek’ Series line-up those are going to premiere on Paramount Plus

Celebrating 55 years, ‘Star Trek’ presented three-hour performances of its Trek series on Paramount Plus. It included series like ST: Strange New Worlds, Season 2 of ST: Picard, Season 4 of ST: Discovery, and the animated series ST: Prodigy and ST: Lower Decks.

Star Trek: Prodigy

According to cast members and Creators, the series will premiere on 28th October i.e. Thursday. The series is specially made for the adult and young audience. The episode will be for one hour. The Star Trek: Prodigy character Kate Mulgrew introduced the audience to the official trailer. The series revolves around the crew of young aliens who came across a federation starship the U.S.S. Protostar. However, they were not aware of any starship or federation.

Through Janeway’s hologram, they will learn to navigate ships across the cosmos. On the other hand, the villains would follow the ship to meet their own selfish needs. The villains are Diviner and Dreddnok. The voice cast of Prodigy includes Brett Gray, Ella Purnell, Angus Imrie, Rylee Alazraqui, Dee Bradley Baker, and Jason Mantzoukas.

Star Trek is made in partnership with Nickelodeon and looks almost the same as Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Therefore, children will love this series.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Star Trek: Strange New World will feature characters like Celia Rose Goodling who will act as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Jess Bush will act as Nurse Christine Chapel, Roddenberry’s wife Majel Barrett was the first to play this role. Babs Olusanmokun will act as Dr. M’Benga, Booker Bradshaw was the first to play this role.

Some other characters include Lt. Erica Ortegas, Hemmer who is a blind actor and will be the first to appear as a blind actor in Star Trek. Apart from them, other characters include La’an Noonien-Singh and she will be related to the infamous Khan Noonien Singh who is the villain.

Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on November 18. In this season, Michael Burnham will play the role of captain of the U.S.S. Discovery. The crew will get to face a dangerous gravitational anomaly that will be a threat to all the lives in the galaxy. The characters include Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio, and Ian Alexander.

According to Cruz, ” It’s been a really fantastic way to spend a season, to create this family where people are relying on each other and supporting each other and creating the world that we all deserve to live in.”

Star Trek: Lower Decks

The story is in the middle of its second season on Paramount Plus. It is a comedy series. The cast and the Creators including the executive producer Mike McMahan introduced the audience to the official trailer.
