Recap of Episodes 1 and 2
After a ten-year hiatus, the eponymous Jedi of Episodes 1 and 2 returns to protect young Luke Skywalker on Tatooine.
Kenobi learns that Princess Leia, a 10-year-old, has been kidnapped by bounty hunters. He is forced to depart the desert planet to arrange a daring rescue.
With the Empire on the search for any remaining Jedi, Obi-Wan causes a ruckus, bringing the inquisitors to the planet Daiyu, where the Third Sister, Reva, nearly catches up to Obi-Wan before letting him escape through her fingers.
Reva is enraged by the Grand Inquisitor’s displeasure over her failure to catch Kenobi.
After word of Kenobi’s arrival on Daiyu spread, the plot of Episode 3 will be scrutinized more than ever.
The Grand Inquisitor’s unexpected actions at the end of episode 2 made Reva feel under a lot of pressure to find the Jedi. If she fails, she could face harsh punishment.
Due to the difficulty in bringing Obi-Wan in, it may catch the attention of someone far more powerful than mere inquisitors.
