Kanye West is all set to release his new documentary on Netflix. His documentary ‘Jeen-Yuhs’ released its official trailer, and since then it is taking over the Internet. jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, a much-awaited docuseries, is all set to premiere this February 16, 2022, on Netflix. From the rapper’s days in Chicago to his run for president in 2021, the documentary will contain footage spanning 21 years of Kanye West. Moreover, it will highlight many aspects of his professional and personal life including the death of Donda, his mother in 2007. The documentary will release as a trilogy.
Kanye West’s mother, Donda West was a professor of English at Clark Atlanta University and the Chair of the English Department at Chicago State University. Moreover, she became Kanye West’s full-time manager as well. Donda passed away in 2007 at the age of 58 due to complications from cosmetic surgery involving abdominoplasty and breast reduction. Sources revealed that the rapper has not moved on yet from his mother’s death.
The Grammy-winning rapper was always close to his mother. He even dedicated an entire album to her in August 2021. Moreover, his mother accompanied him to many red carpet events.

Kanye West’s father, Ray West is a 72-year-old resident of the Dominican Republic. He runs an organization that assists the victims of prostitution and corruption. Previously, he was a member of the Black Panther Party. Moreover, he also happened to be the first Black photojournalist at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. In addition, he worked as a marriage counselor and a store owner as well.

Kanya West revealed his relationship with his father in a recent interview. He said that his father did not accompany him when he shifted with his mother from Atlantic to Chicago. He added that his father did not want to be beside him in the coldest and most dangerous city in the world as he prioritized his father. However, despite the differences, they did share a close bond. He revealed that his father was his best friend and it took him 42 years to realize that. He would reminisce the time when his father visited them in Cody, Wyoming, their mutual love for fishing, and the summers they had spent together.
Ray West was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2018. However, he has recovered from the same and is doing well.
