The “Fast & Furious” franchise doesn’t always take it that seriously with death and has already resurrected a character – and there might be more. “F9” also returns with Han (Sung Kang), a hero believed to be dead, whose renewed use has long been demanded by fans with the hashtag “#justiceforhan” (“Justice for Han”).

The trailer already gave it away, Han is there again and Diesel explained what is so special about it: “Han is an integral character in the series. If you remember, he is somehow responsible for Dom’s being gone for years. ” So there’s something magical about Han, said Diesel, who added, “When you see it, you’ll feel it.” At its core, Han’s story is interlinked with the central theme of the new film: “Don’t give up on your family”.

More action for Helen Mirren And one more little thing was elicited from Diesel: Oscar winner Helen Mirren (“The Queen”) has been on board as Deckard Shaw’s (Jason Statham) mother Magdalene since “Fast & Furious 8” and will be seen again in the ninth part. And finally, she can get behind the wheel of a car herself – just as she wanted from the start.

“It’s so great,” said Diesel. “She can drive and she can drive smoothly.” How that will look in the finished film, fans in this country will find out from May 27, 2021, because then “Fast & Furious 9” will start in Indian cinemas- provided the corona crisis doesn’t put a spanner in the works.
