Doom Patrol Renewed for Season 4 by HBO Max: Expected Release Date & Review

Doom Patrol shows the journey of a group of individuals who acquired their superpowers after tragic incidents.

While they are neglected and traumatized by society, they are taken in by The Chief, Niles Caulder who provides them with shelter in his home and helps them. He forms a team of these superheroes and then motivates them to fight for the right causes.

The critically acclaimed series developed by Jeremy Carver is based on a DC Comic with the same name. Three seasons of the famous series have already been released till now, while the third season was released this year in September. Since then, fans are eagerly waiting to know if there will be a fourth season or not.  

About Doom Patrol Season 4 –

With season three premier ing in September this year, the 10th and the last episode aired on 11 November 2021. And fans are wondering about the next season already!

The good news is there will be a season 4. In a DC Fandome event held on 16 October 2021, it was revealed that the super hit show has been renewed for another season. Viewers wouldn’t be surprised because the show was doing pretty well and received great responses. Not to forget, the season 3 ending quite revealed that there is more to this series. 

Doom Patrol Season 4: Release Date and Cast

No release date has been announced yet for Doom Patrol Season 4. If we Look at the releases of last season, we cannot really predict when the next season will come. However, the team faced quite a few challenges while filming the third season due to the pandemic. This time, since there are not many challenges, season 4 is expected to hit our screens anytime in 2022. 

It is still too early to talk about the cast considering we don’t know what season 4 might hold for us. However, it is reported that the contracts of the main casts have been renewed while there is no information about others.

Ratings Of The Previous Seasons-

Doom Patrol has done exceptionally well in season one. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 8.2/10 and a good 96%. While the second season went a notch higher with 8.33/10 and approval of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. 

The third and the most recent season has received a rating of 75%. 

Besides great ratings and reviews, the show has been nominated for awards several times including Critics’ Choice Super Awards, Golder Trailer Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards.
