Pokemon Journeys Episode 75 Release Date, Time, and Recap

Pokemon 2019 / Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episode 75 is titled “Cresselia – Midsummer Night’s Light“. Fans are really excited for episode 75. Let’s start the article with a quick recap and review. We will also discuss the release date, time, and preview of episode 75.

Pokemon Journeys Episode 74: Recap

Episode 74 titled Darkrai – Midsummer Night’s Dream. The premise of why our heroes are heading to Sinnoh is that cities are having trouble sleeping because of Darkrai. That’s because as we see at the beginning of the episode team rocket was going after Cresselia and chased it off full moon island allowing Darkrai to take control. Chloe’s also on summer vacation from school. She expected a family vacation but it seems that cerise forgot about that. He’s too busy taking care of an egg and her mother’s too busy with her illustration job and her brother is going to summer camp with his friends. So instead Cerise says that maybe she can go to Sinnoh to help out Ash and Goh. However, Chloe isn’t happy and instead decides to go on a trip on her own to Sinnoh. She takes way too many things for this adventure only for her mother to tell her that’s too many things and give her just a backpack with all the essentials in it. Chloe’s mom tells her to enjoy herself and be free and her dad is the one freaking out.

Chloe gets Sinnoh, she doesn’t really know where to go and has to run away from her trainer battle. It leads to an interview with Dawn’s mother since she’s a contest legend. There she learns about a contest going on in Eterna city. Eevee seemed to be excited hearing this so they decide to go there. Rather than wait an hour and take the bus there they decide to walk there. However, that doesn’t go too well for them either since they get stuck in the rain.

Meanwhile, Ash and Goh arrive at the City and learn a bit more about what’s happening with the Darkrai thing. They learned that the sleep issues happening in spots like a Roman Pokémon. So they decide to try to track it. While that’s happening Matori decides that she doesn’t want to take the fall for losing Cresselia. So she tells team rocket that Giovanni asked him to find it and so they oblige. Meanwhile, she and her team go after Darkrai.

The rain eventually settles down and Chloe finds herself in front of a beautiful lake. She decides that’s where she’s going to sleep for the night. When she’s making food a random Piplup shows up and starts eating her food. That Piplup was not random at all but rather it’s Dawn’s Piplup. She introduces herself and she learns that Chloe’s heading to Eterna which is also where Dawn is going. They decide to go together however she is surprised to learn that Chloe isn’t actually participating in the contest and urges her to since everyone has to start somewhere.

We also see here that Chloe and Dawn are very different in how they see things. Chloe does things by the book she wants to head to the nearest Pokémon center as soon as possible. So she can sleep in an actual bed. However, Dawn doesn’t mind either way she just wants to enjoy herself and will take a long route if need be. This causes a bit of friction between the two as they’re trying to get through the forest. While that’s happening the previous night Ash and Goh both had a nightmare in the city. They were sitting in and they go outside and spot Darkrai. The next morning is there gathering information and asking around. Goh finds that according to all the data they have Darkrai is circling around a forest near the city. So Ash and Goh decide to head there.

Meanwhile, in the forest itself, a sleep-deprived ride on attached Chloe and Dawn. They battle it with Chloe to get the KO after Eevee mimics Piplup’s bubble beam and allows it to head a super-effective move. That battle makes both Chloe and Dawn become a bit more closer again after all their sniping throughout the forest. However, the KO doesn’t actually knock out the ride on instead it makes it fall asleep which makes them both question why. And as they advanced in the forest they notice a wounded Cresselia as the episode ends.
