Jeremy Giambi, the baseball athlete died at his parent’s house in the morning of February 9, 2022, in California. His agent Joel Wolfe revealed the news of the athlete’s death. According to TMZ, Giambi died from suicide after law enforcement received an emergency call on Wednesday morning requesting medical assistance at his Claremont home. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has not yet released the results of the autopsy.

Jeremy Giambi’s Baseball Career
With an impressive legacy of baseball expertise and multiple records to his name, Jeremy Giambi leaves behind a lasting legacy. He played for the Kansas City Royals Royals, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Oakland Athletics and the Boston Red Sox from 1998 to 2003. With a .263 batting average, 52 home runs, and 209 runs batted in during a very short time, he was able to put on jerseys of different teams in a short period of time. In 2001, he played in 124 games and had 12 home runs. His most famous moment may have been getting thrown out by Derek Jeter’s cutoff flip during a 2001 ALDS game.
