LeBron James was asked to follow the safety guidelines of the NBA health and safety protocols. This was the reason he missed his game against the Sacramento Kings in Los Angeles. Due to all this, everyone is wondering if the star has been vaccinated or not for Covid-19.

The NBA writer and analyst, Shams Charania wrote in a tweet that Lakers star Lebron James will be sidelined for at least 10 days. There is a chance only if he shows two negative test results of covid-19 within 24-hours. Although it has still not been confirmed if Lebron has been tested positive for the coronavirus.

Has Lebron Taken The Covid-19 Vaccine

Though Lebron was not sure about taking the vaccine, he later announced that he had taken the vaccine for coronavirus. He revealed this on media in September.
He said that although he was not sure about the vaccine, he did his research about it. After he did his research and everything, he thought it was best for him and his family members, to get vaccinated. And that was the reason the NBA star decided to take the vaccine.

When James was asked if he should promote the vaccine after his own experience. He said that he did not want to get involved in the things other people want to do. It was their body and their choice.

What Would Happen If A Player Tested Positive?

As stated by ESPN, if any player tested positive for Covid-19, they would be required to be in quarantine for at least 10 days. They would have to stay away from the team and would not be allowed any physical activity.

The player would be required to undergo a cardiac screening after some time. Lastly, they would be reconditioned before returning to the court.
The player can also remove the protocol by showing two negative PCR tests within 24 hours.
